I'm so sick of being unwanted,  But if I was aught else,  Would I be satisfied?   
I'd rather my heart be anything but empty,  Anything but broken,  But if I had a few drops with which to fill it,  
Would they not spill themselves into the dust?   
I'd rather die than feel another (full) year  Of pain unintended,  But if I slew my pain, my self  
Would I damn myself to an eternity of death?   
I've broken my heart to avoid breaking others,  More times than necessary.  I hate to say it:  I'd gladly break yours to avoid it.

Dreams are funny thingsDreams are funny things: you can never tell how they’re going to be. Your eyelids are leaden, and you get tired of holding them up, even though you know there are things you should be doing. The hours have run away with each other, carrying your cognizance with them. So you let the padded vice, the oppressive pillow of sleep sink your face deep into your mattress, and you rest, drifting drowsily between the embellished columns of the gate that holds in the imaginings of your slumbering cerebrum.

A Crucial EndeavorAn orb descended in the west,  And darkness stretched an arm  To smite the light and leave the rest.  The calm of night put to the test  
The day's vivacious charm.   
A scarf of red about its head,  
The violet border 'tween  The sky and earth cooed "Day is dead,"  And all celestial candles led  The eye to Moon, their queen.   
Far underneath this courtly dance,  A pair of mortals, mild,  
Beheld the bed of stars, askance  
And firm within a tacit trance:  A warrior and a child.

It's a long time. It's also how long I've gone without posting a journal entry on this site. I should probably be in bed right now, because I have school in the morning and it's 11 p.m.

But I'll write anyway. Heh.

So...the past few days have sucked. I've been running on little sleep, and I've been exhausted. I've been stressed out because I've had way too much going on. Especially today. But I'm effectively over the hump, and a day early too, because I don't have school Friday. By all rights, I should be having spring break right now, but our school has to be the only freaking school in the county that has its spring break late. So...I don't get to hang with any of my buddies in other schools. They'll be back in over the break. And I'm going to be away, at the stuffiest place in the nation: Bob Jones University. So...spring break won't be much of a reprieve. But it'll be better than nothing, right? Better than school, right? Right?!

God, I hope so.
